Elverson 5k and 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run

Return to Blog

Anchored Ministries is excited to host the Elverson 5K on Saturday, June 26th, at Livingood Park! This event will include a 1 Mile Fun Run and a Virtual Option, making it accessible for participants of all ages and fitness levels.

The day will kick off with the 5K race, followed by the Fun Run, which is perfect for families looking to spend time together outdoors. Furthermore, those who prefer to run at their own pace can choose the Virtual Option, allowing them to participate from the comfort of their homes or favorite running routes.

This event not only promotes fitness but also supports our community in meaningful ways. All proceeds will benefit our Food & Nutrition, Clothing, and Community Programs, which provide essential resources to local families in need. By participating, you will help us uplift and support our neighbors during challenging times.

We encourage you to lace up your running shoes, invite your friends and family, and join us for a day filled with fun, exercise, and fellowship. Together, we can make this event memorable while making a positive impact in our community. Don’t miss out on this opportunity—mark your calendars and be part of something truly special! We can’t wait to see you there!

Stepping up to the Plate for Plowville AA

Return to Blog

Partnering for Community Development

We are proud to partner with Plowville AA to prepare Wesley Updike Park for the upcoming season. This collaboration demonstrates our commitment to improving parks and creating enjoyable environments. Our team will work diligently to enhance the park’s facilities, ensuring they are ready for community events and recreational activities.

Building Community Through Sustainable Infrastructure

At Berg, we focus on building enduring infrastructure that benefits our team and families while enriching our community. One of the greatest advantages of having a dedicated and skilled team is our ability to tackle projects that enhance local spaces. Through effective collaboration and a shared vision, we can make a meaningful impact.

Creating Lasting Community Connections

Investing time and resources into projects like this fosters a sense of belonging within the community. Parks serve as gathering places where families create lasting memories and friends bond over shared experiences. Well-maintained infrastructure plays a vital role in enhancing residents’ quality of life, making it easier for everyone to engage in outdoor activities.

Looking Ahead to Improved Park Facilities

As we move forward with this project, we are excited to see the positive impact on Wesley Updike Park. Together with Plowville AA, we aim to contribute to a brighter future for local parks. We encourage community members to take advantage of the improved facilities and engage with their neighbors.

Engaging the Community in Local Development

In addition to enhancing the park’s features, we hope to host events that promote unity and strengthen connections among residents. These gatherings will provide opportunities for people to share ideas and participate in fun activities for all ages.

Conclusion: Building a Connected Community Together

Thank you for your continued support as we strive to build a better, more connected community. We believe that through our collective efforts, we can create a vibrant environment where all individuals feel valued and included.
