Twin Ponds Farm Equestrian Facility: A New Community Addition

We are very excited to share an update on our recently completed project: the Twin Ponds Farm equestrian facility in Glenmoore, PA. Berg Construction proudly served as the subcontractor for this commercial project, contracted by B&D Builders, LLC.

Project Overview

The Twin Ponds Farm project involved the construction of a state-of-the-art equestrian facility. Our team focused on several important tasks to ensure the project’s success. We implemented erosion control measures to prevent soil erosion and protect the surrounding environment. To prepare the site, we moved approximately 20,000 cubic yards of material as part of the bulk earthwork phase. Addressing unsuitable soil issues was crucial, ensuring a stable foundation for the facility.

Additionally, we subgraded the building pads to create a solid base for construction and worked on the riding arena to meet specific requirements for equestrian activities. Our responsibilities also included the installation of a reliable septic system to effectively manage wastewater. To handle water runoff efficiently, we implemented storm sewer piping systems and developed a stormwater management facility, utilizing geostorage solutions for effective stormwater control. We also prepared trenches for essential dry utilities and constructed an accessible driveway to enhance access to the facility.

Project Timeline

We began this project in August 2023 and successfully completed it in September 2024. Throughout this timeline, we collaborated closely with Howell Engineering to ensure all work met regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.
