Before joining Berg Construction, Robert spent his days working on a farm. Being outside and working with his hands were things Robert enjoyed on the farm, and they both hold true in his work at Berg.
He likes working with the Berg family because each day allows him to learn something. Robert knows that when he faces situations he doesn’t understand, he can go to anyone on his crew and ask for help – and they’ll be 100% willing to jump in.
For Robert, the satisfaction of good work lies in showing up, facing the day’s challenges, and seeing everything work out even if you didn’t know how it would go at the start of the day. His dad taught him, “if you want something bad enough, work hard and earn it,” and Robert tries to stick to that advice.
